wide range of index plungers for locking and positioning order online
BIBUS offers a wide range of index plungers. Index plungers, also referred to as index pins or locking pins, are, amongst other things, used for locking or positioning workpieces and tools or adjusting the height of desks, chairs, and structures.
The range of index plungers varies from smooth, weldable index plungers of black passivated steel to versions with screw thread for direct mounting in black passivated or stainless steel. Depending on the load, various dimensions are available. With the thread type, you can even choose between versions with mounting hexagons, or a version without a hexagon that is mounted by means of a special key. For securing the index bolt, there is also the option of including a low lock nut.
Index plungers with and without locking
Locking means that, when the knob is pulled out and turned a quarter, the index bolt remains in the retracted position when the knob is released. In versions without locking, the pin will always return to its original position when the knob is released.
Stainless steel index plungers
Our range of index plungers also includes polished stainless steel plungers of M10 to M20. With diameters ranging from 5 to 10 mm, each model is available with or without locking. Moreover, they can be fitted with a mounting hexagon and are suitable for applications in the maritime world, food industry, and medical world.
In addition to stainless steel indexing bolts, you will find steel index plungers, zamak index plungers and plastic index plungers in our range. Furthermore, the spacers, mounting blocks and other mounting tools help with the mounting of the detent plungers.
